This policy lists the cookies and browser storage rothumbnail.com uses. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

Short version: we use what's needed to run the site, like keeping you signed in, plus PostHog analytics to see how the site is used and improve it. We don't use advertising cookies. In the EU, EEA, UK and the rest of Europe, analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.

Analytics

We use PostHog (PostHog, Inc., US) to understand how visitors use RoThumbnail, such as which pages they visit, whether a thumbnail was generated and whether someone started a checkout, and to record anonymized session replays that help us find confusing parts of the site. Text typed into fields is masked in replays.

NameWhat it doesHow long
ph_<project key>_posthog (cookie and local storage)A random ID that links your visits, and your account once you sign in1 year

If you are in Europe, we ask first. Until you accept, and if you reject, PostHog counts visits without cookies or browser storage and without session replay. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies, which shows the banner again.

Browser storage

We store your display theme preference in your browser's local storage under theme. It never leaves your device.

Third-party cookies

  • Cloudflare Turnstile (bot check when a guest session starts) and Cloudflare's security features may set cookies that are strictly necessary to tell people from bots.
  • Google sets its own cookies when you sign in with Google, under Google's policies.
  • Waffo, our payment provider, may set its own cookies on its checkout pages when you buy a plan or credits.

Your choices

The session cookies above are needed for the site to work; blocking them in your browser may stop you from making thumbnails or staying signed in. Analytics cookies are optional (see Analytics). You can delete cookies any time in your browser settings.

If we ever add advertising cookies, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
